Dia duit Pip!

Bhíomar ag cleachtadh ár nGaeilge nuair a tháinig ár gcairde Pip ar chuairt go dtí an seomra ranga. Ní thuigeann Pip Béarla, mar sin is gá dúinn labhairt dó as Gaeilge. Tá sé an-chairdiúil agus cabhraíonn sé linn Gaeilge a labhairt.

We were practicing our Irish when our friend Pip came to visit the classroom. Pip doesn’t understand English so we have to talk to him in Irish. He's very friendly and helps us speak Irish.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

We've been learning all about the importance of looking after our environment. We explored ways that we can reduce our use of plastic, reuse some things and of course recycle, which we do everyday in Room 21.
We decided to use the plastic water bottles we get in our lunch everyday and turn them into plant pots.
It was great fun filling each pot up with compost and planting some lettuce seeds. Now all we need to do is make sure they have enough water and plenty of sunlight.

We also made some posters to show the importance of looking after our environment.
