Story Nana is reading us some fantastic stories. She is currently reading the "Naughty Little Sister" series of stories to us.

Our school received a Healthy School Flag from the HSE yesterday.

This was the result of 3 years of hard work by the staff, committee members and the students of St Clare's.

Everyone is very happy that our efforts to eat healthy lunches every day has been recognised.

Well done everybody! 👍🏻

We have recently started playing tin whistle with our tin whistle teacher Padraig.

We promised to practice hard at home to become super musicians!

Thanks to Padraig for all his help.

For science we built a volcano in class!

Today we had great fun as we made healthy, homemade pizzas.

Here's what you need:

Wraps, tomato sauce or relish, cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese, whatever toppings you like (carefully sliced very thinly)

Here's how we did it:

1. We washed our hands.

2. We heated our ovens to 180C.

3. We put our wraps into the hot oven to crisp up a little.

4. We took them out and spread the tomato sauce or relish on them.

5. We put some cheddar cheese, the sliced toppings and a little mozzarella on top.

6. We put it back into the oven until the cheese is bubbling.

7. Let it cool a little before eating.

8. Enjoy.

We had great fun listening to Story Nana reading "Rainy Day" to us today.

It was a very suitable story for such a wet morning!
