We have been learning all about Italy this week.
There is a great big volcano called Mount Vesuvius in Italy. It famously erupted in 79 AD, burying the Roman city of Pompeii in ash and lava. We have studied this event in our history lessons.
Today for a science lesson we made our own working volcano!
It was great fun being a scientist.
